The Hoops U. Basketball Coaching Certification & DevelopmentProgram is designed as a blueprint to help develop quality basketball coaches. Without question, quality coaching is the single most important factor in developing our players and improving the game of basketball.
With an emphasis on leadership, player development, offensive & defensive systems, learning and teaching the game, the focus is on the continued development of the basketball coach. The Hoops U. Basketball Coaching DevelopmentProgram is all about helping you become a better basketball coach in all areas and giving your players the best instruction possible.
The objectives of the Hoops U. Basketball Coaching DevelopmentProgram are:
- To educate and provide coaches with the most current coaching information.
- To take a proactive role at addressing and solving the coaching challenges in modern day basketball.
- To encourage coaches to provide a positive, fun, and healthy learning environment for the development of their players while they are involved in basketball.
The Basketball Coaching DevelopmentProgram provides basketball coaches a continuing education and certificationprogram that will challenge their abilities and build their knowledge with a progression of techniques and tactics.
Our coaching education program also provides basketball program leaders such as head coaches, athletic directors, league commissioners, and program coordinators with a resource that will help set a standard for coaches within their system.
As certification and CEUs can also be achieved, this will ensure that you and your coaches are continuing the developmental process. Coaching certification and/or CEUs may or may not be required where you coach, however, it will increase your credibility and demonstrate your willingness to learn. In some instances, you cant even get hired without certification.
